let the holiday happy commence

it's officially cookie time!

To say that I love the December holiday season may be a bit of an understatement. There is a buoying, wholly invigorating sense of joy that settles in my chest when the air turns crisp and glimpses of holiday décor start to peek from the pages of catalogues. And while Ken is firmly focused on Thanksgiving until several days after the turkey feast, I’m humming Christmas carols for days – ok weeks, fine, maybe months – well in advance of December 1^st.  A wee bit over enthusiastic? Perhaps. But I’ve never met a gray mood that I can’t banish with a little bit of festive music and visions of cutout cookies.

And now that December is officially upon us my enthusiasm boarders on – and sometimes even surpasses – the unabashed. So, over the next several weeks, here at Two Bites we’ll be celebrating the December festivities in all of their glory.

Pretty packages? Check.

Bubbly beverages? Check.

Hot chocolate at home and around the city? Check.

Lots and lots and lots of cookies? Triple check.
